Have you ever noticed that your computer is slower starting up than it used to be when you first bought it?
This may be because you have programs starting up at power up that you do not necessarily want to use.
Windows Defender lets you see and remove programs which startup when your computer turns on.
Follow this path on your computer (in XP) and you can make some adjustments ….
Start >> All programs >> Windows Defender >> Tools >> Software Explorer >> Startup Programs
There are likely some programs here that you do not need to have startup every time you start your computer.
Feel free to remove them if you are sure that you do not want them to appear at startup.
